As a Web Analyst you are working in a cross-functional scrum team of CRO-specialists, Web- and Products Analysts. The goal of the team is to inspire and enable a data-driven culture at Miele to optimize the digital experience for our website visitors. We do that by providing actionable insights, share knowledge and set standards based on reliable, high-quality data in a way that's understandable, unbiased and empowering to all.

In this role, you are responsible for the configuration and the data quality of the global Google Analytics account. You set up governance processes to ensure compliance, as the latest regulations around GDPR and EPrivacy are well known to you. You will be tasked with analyzing key metrics about our digital business and its webshop performance which you will use to generate insights and reports for marketing, UX, product, and overall strategy.

To ensure success, you should be adept at business intelligence, report writing, and process optimization. A top-notch web analyst will be knowledgeable on a broad range of e-commerce activities, such as SEO, website design, sales funneling, conversions, and digital marketing. Through using your expert interpersonal skills, you advise and challenge stakeholders, provide insights and influence data driven business decisions on a global scale.

Your day-to-day job

  • Ensuring data quality and availability according to GDPR standards.
  • Analyzing business needs and translating website data into actionable insights to drive the success of our growth strategy.
  • Identifying key areas for improvements, such as audience, acquisition, behavior, and conversions.
  • Help the teams identify key metrics that measure and transform e-commerce data into operational insights.
  • Monitoring and analyzing e-commerce metrics and figures.
  • You take initiative when you see opportunities for improvement and follow up on next steps.
  • You have a highly structured, independent and goal orientated working method.
  • You are a 100% team-player and have a high interest in continuous reflection and improvement within the team.

We are looking for

  • 4+ years’ experience in web analytics, product analytics, business analytics or similar, within an ecommerce environment
  • Understanding of client and server side tracking implementation is a must-have, Google Tag Manager experience is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of web-analytic tools, such as Google Universal Analytics/Google Analytics 4, PowerBi, BigQuery and similar.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation abilities. As well as fluent English (written & spoken) and excellent communication skills. You are able to clearly and concisely explain complex matters to non-domain expert.
  • Proficient in various data analysis techniques and procedures. (SQL is a must).
  • Experience in stakeholder management and knowledge of important e-commerce terminology and measures.
