Job overview
Miele X is growing fast and because of that we are looking for an IT Operations Manager to deliver excellent IT support and development. Based in the Amsterdam office, you will be responsible for leading the teams located in Amsterdam as part of the regional IT team you will work closely with the Regional Information Director NWE. You will be responsible for hand picking your local team as the support need expands
Your day-to-day job
- Timely and accurate technical support across Microsoft and Apple products, including telecoms and audio visual
- Networking capability to include LAN\WAN\Wifi – demonstrable topology and administration skills
- Team-building skills to include leadership and collaboration
- Matrix management experience, leading local solutions and contributing to regional needs.
- Mobile and adaptable working approach
- Accountable for 200+ users across multiple sites (predominantly Miele X office, Amsterdam)

We are looking for
- Develop IT as a trusted business partner across multiple sites as necessary, based in Amsterdam
- Ability to work in a pressured environment when required, working hands on.
- Demonstrable knowledge of MS Office products & infrastructure MCSE or equivalent eg Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL knowledge & experience, GDPR knowledge,
- BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field, proven experience of IT Operations management.
- Project management skills, logical and agile approach, ability to manage multiple projects
- Work closely with the Regional Information Director and central IT teams
- Organised and logical approach to task management, with a continuous improvement eye
- Excellent eye for customer satisfaction
- Working knowledge of security principles and practices
- Excellent English language skills – written and verbal
