Miele X is growing fast and because of that, we are looking for a Head of Data Integration! As part of the Data Integration team, you will be responsible for making leading a team of professionals in the roles of data architect and data engineer. The objective of the role is to ensure data availability within the Miele X organization and in particular the Data & Analytics department.

To enable the rest of the Data, Governance & Analytics department to facilitate data-driven decision-making within Miele X and Miele, the data integration team is at the foundation. We want a best-in-class data platform, based on Azure & partners, connected to all relevant data sources to have the single version of the truth, directly from the main sources, to feed our dashboards, analytics, visualizations, and eventually our data science team. The Head of Data Integration will take over from an interim head who has successfully built the first foundations for the data platform, are you the person helping it to the next level?

• Forming the policy together with the Director of Data & Analytics and the other heads within the Data & Analytics department. Making sure data is provided properly, to the right people, is of the highest possible quality, and that all PII data is treated according to GDPR and local legislation where applicable
• Transforming the policy into work plans, like: instruments, systems, processes, budgets, management reports, strategic workforce planning, tactical objectives, goals and tactical KPI's.
• Directing, inspiring and supporting the Data Integration Team to realize an optimal contribution to the end result of the organization. (E.g. - In changes and developments, projects and development and coaching of the employees)
• Ensuring a high standard of quality (E.g. employee satisfaction, overall data integration/availability performance, customer satisfaction, efficient and effective processes.)
• Leading in executing the Get X Done
• Initiating and managing international and local projects
• Creating synergy within the entire organization by striving for optimal performance, connections and mutual commitment between individual business units.
• Setting, monitoring, and achieving KPI's

• At least 10 years of experience as a data engineer and/or data architect 
• Fluent in English
• More than 5 years of managerial experience in a data environment
• Good knowledge of Azure architecture, data standards, and other modern cloud data platforms
