Job overview

The Content Manager (Website) helps to create and manage a rich content world at Miele’s webshops of premium home appliances. This role will be the voice for our webshop and take it to the next level. It takes creativity, leadership skills and of course, excellent writing ability, to produce and publish relevant content. This role will create multimedia content that raises the webshop performance to the next level based on Data. The Content Manager is responsible to deliver crunchy headlines, user-centric content and performance driven editorial.

Your day-to-day job

  • Create excellent written and verbal communication and ensure the quality of content, always in alignment with a creative mindset and with the user on top of mind.
  • Target the specific audiences and meet company objective, KPI’s for performance marketing and the Webshop. Draw conclusions based on analytic reports and KPIs. Implement with premium execution capabilities.
  • Collaborate within cross-functional teams closely with marketing, UX and frontend development to ensure technical alignment, best-in-class-performance and consistence, in order to deliver a simple and smooth user experience.
  • Supporting the onsite SEO best practices to write creative and original copy that includes effective keyword placement.
  • Constantly discover new customer needs and identify business opportunities by continuous research. Improve internal workflows and processes related to the roadmap and backlog.

We are looking for

  • Ideally university degree in Communication or a similar experience within a related field.
  • Foundational experience working for a premium brand in consumer or FMCG industry, market and (premium) consumer behavior knowledge.
  • Strong communication and organization skills with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude and experienced in agile ways of working as well as being an assertive team-player with project management skills, an international mindset, and fluent in business English (business level).
  • Experienced in Content Creation and managing eCommerce or brand websites. Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity.
  • Technical knowledge of CMS, Analytics, MS Office. Extremely computer-literate, especially with how to write, interpret, and edit HTML scripts. Advanced written communication skills and an ability to read copy in English.
