Job overview

The Agile PMO officer with Customer Engagement Focus is a key function within Miele X’s operational excellence team, reporting to the Head of the Agile PMO’s. In this role you will support key stakeholders in the different CRM business teams of Miele’s global digital hub in the build-up of their organization and defining, prioritizing and developing cross-functional business projects to create industry-leading customer relations across touchpoints. Using agile project management methodologies, standards, and tools. The role owns and oversees key company processes and allows the business teams to scale and regain their most important resource: time! Previous experience as a project manager (CE) in a tech start-up/agile environment and strong relationship skills are preferred assets.

Your day-to-day job

  • Oversees the coordination of multiple cross-functional Miele X enterprise projects and ensures that CRM business teams are enabled and supported in effective planning, prioritization and execution of deliverables through the use of agile tooling.
  • Serves as project manager, responsible for overall project definition, management and tracking, covering the entire lifecycle, from project definition and business requirements gathering through to implementation, including integration, training, data tracking, execution and go-live.
  • Works with CRM and wider Miele stakeholders, service providers and agencies to gather functional and technical operational requirements and optimizes day-to-day operations through the development of business value assessments and process blueprints showing as-is and the improved to-be end state.
  • Analyzes financial and customer engagement data, trains and guides business team stakeholders on end-to-end procurement and budget processes.
  • Ensures project management expectations are clearly communicated across teams, and on all levels – drives progress through great interpersonal and engaging skills.

We are looking for

  • Masters Degree with min. 5+ years of work experience in a start-up environment and/or significant experience as a PMO Officer in a larger company with focus on customer engagement – Agile Project Management Skills are a must, PMI & Scrum-certification advantageous.
  • Experience working with top management, strong leadership-, organizational- and relationship skills with intercultural and political intelligence. Interaction with international Miele stakeholders will be part of this role.
  • Drive to make things happen with the (internal) user on top of the mind and premium execution capabilities, works with little or no supervision. Data minded and proven track record in managing processes from idea to execution.
  • Attention to detail and technicalities, enjoys multitasking and to drive fast results with experience in guiding and influencing people without being their manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Other languages highly appreciated – broad experience in international positions may be advantageous.
