The Senior User Journey Analyst primarily acts as individual contributor to optimize the performance and maximize the conversion of our ~ 50 consumer facing websites. By continuously analyzing online KPIs and conducting A/B tests, this role develops a deep understanding of our user and their interaction with all digital touchpoints of our premium brand. The ideal candidate has in-depth analytics expertise and a strong data-centric approach enabling others to live and work our decision-making based philosophy.

Your day-to-day job

  • Act as a partner and advisor for the D2C business performance team at Miele X, by providing insights and developing testing strategies that impact decision-making so that more value is created for the consumer and the business
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative data to identify optimization opportunities. Understand user behavior by generating and validating  testable hypotheses that enhance the digital experience and drive meaningful improvements for the Miele website
  • Oversee and manage the entire A/B testing process hands-on, from refining ideas and test development, through quality assurance, to launch and analysis.
  • As part of the central Analytics team, build a high-quality and trustworthy experimentation foundation as well as further develop our data product portfolio such as Hotjar Analysis, Survey Analysis, and Discovery Analysis
  • Champion and inspire a culture of experimentation, encouraging innovative thinking and continuous improvement across the organization.

We are looking for

  • University degree in business studies, consumer psychology, computer science, statistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years in experimentation and CRO with a strong track record of optimizing e-commerce experiences. Ideally for a premium brand in the consumer or FMCG industry
  • Strong communication skills, a hands-on attitude, and experience in agile methodologies. An assertive team player with project & stakeholder management skills, an international mindset, and excellent English communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge leveraging Analytics tools such as GA4 or Hotjar, experience working with AB testing tools such as Optimizely, as well as a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to code simple A/B tests yourself. SQL and Phyton are considered a plus
  • Data-driven mindset: Ability to think critically and draw logical conclusions from data points and insights in alignment with business goals
