I joined Miele X in April 2021, working four days a week as a Digital Campaign Manager. Having a healthy work-life balance is something I believe has become more important to me and that I strive to find in my everyday life. Balancing between the job you love, your social life, hobbies and dreams has never been easy and let’s be honest, that can become a bit more challenging when becoming a mum and wanting to spend more time with your little one.  

What attracted me to Miele X

The main thing that attracted me to Miele X was the role itself. As a digital campaign manager, I love to create campaigns from scratch, find ways to tell a brand’s story and reach customers in a way that its appealing to them while meeting our company goals. Currently I’m working in a team that leads the entire process, from creation to execution to evaluation. In the end we deliver a creative campaign concept, multiple digital assets, and a set of recommendations that our international market teamss can promote locally.

For me Miele X brings the best of both worlds: A premium trustworthy brand with a proven track record of high-quality products, whilst working in a fast-paced culture. It feels dynamic, people driven, and I liked the international mind-set.

Working flexibly

The people in my team have been great in working around my day off and letting me enjoy my time with my son to the fullest. In fact, one day when I did join our team meeting during my day off, my managers first reaction was: “Why are you here?”. To me, that is empowerment! And that is what I personally need. Nowadays as working from home has become the new normal, seeing our living room becoming our office and, in my case, sometimes also kindergarten, we need to set boundaries while remaining flexible.

A relaxed culture

Even though the work we’re doing is fast paced, very dynamic and energetic, I feel the culture is relaxed and collaborative. It’s an experienced team, so people are very confident in what they’re doing, and I feel we can rely on each other.

The onboarding has also been amazing – particularly now during the Covid pandemic – giving me a taste of the Miele X culture. I really believe the team is doing a great job and I’m thoroughly enjoying working here!
