About Your Workplace 
 

We’re seeking a talented Designer with a sharp eye for detail, a passion for crafting intuitive digital interfaces, and a deep understanding of design systems.  
In this role, you’ll focus on creating visually polished, user-centered designs that are not only beautiful and consistent across our eCommerce platform but also accessible to everyone. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring Miele’s digital experiences to life, ensuring every pixel has purpose and every interaction feels seamless. 

 

Ideally you have a strong background in UI/graphic design and some UX knowledge that you are looking to build on and grow in.  

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

• Working within a Product Team to wireframe, design and prototype high-fidelity user interfaces for our eCommerce platform 

• Use your customer-centric creative mindset to review both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions 

• Partner with Product Owners on features to continuously optimize the user experience, and collaborate closely with IT to ensure technical feasibility and performance. 

• Push the craft of UI design forward, exploring new interaction patterns, motion, and techniques to elevate the end-user experience 

• Help build and evolve our Design Systems including tokens, components and documentation 

• Know how to create Accessible user interfaces and brief your designs to out Frontenders 

• Understand mapping of user-flows and best practice interaction patterns  

 

 

Key performance measures for position 
  

• User engagement and satisfaction metrics (CES) 

• Revenue growth directly attributed to new product features or enhancements (Value Bridge contribution) 

• Efficiency of the product development process (time to delivery of new solutions).

Competencies/Skills for position  

• Strong UI / Graphic design experience of minimum 3 years   

• Digital design portfolio with eCommerce experience 

• Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping and documenting detailed user flows  

• Ambition to  

• Experienced in agile ways of working  (Product Teams)  

• International mindset, and fluent business English  

• Excellent prototyping and design skills and a deep understanding of new software/web technologies 

• Have a customer-centric creative mindset and can review both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
