Job overview

The Technical Privacy Specialist is responsible to implement and optimize Miele’s consent Management activities providing technical analysis to the legal team in order to valid consent collection and ensure GDPR compliance and country-level settings and trainings. The role is connecting internal and external stakeholders, developing and supporting technical solutions and analysis in strong collaboration with IT and Legal, and is monitoring all Miele X measures.

Your day-to-day job

  • Primary source of information for internal, global stakeholder relating to technical analysis regarding GDPR, Consent Management and Legal Requirements.
  • Support of implementation of additional consent management solutions – in content and technology.
  • Consultancy to regional and local functions by providing technical advice and analysis about consent management, GDPR-compliant marketing solutions and risk avoidance topics.
  • Establish a close collaboration between IT, Legal and internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for

  • Strongly technical background with expert level experience (5+ years appreciated) in browser developer and various tracking and tagging tools.
  • Experience with Browser Developer Tools, HTML, JavaScript, Google Analytics and GTM.
  • Strong communication and organization skills with a hands-on attitude, passion for details, constructive collaboration and solution oriented.
  • Experience with GDPR and Consent Management in an international eCommerce environment.
  • Experience working in a JIRA Agile scrum environment.
  • Assertive team-player with project management skills, international mindset and excellent communication in English and with an open-minded interest for other cultures, behaviours and procedures.
