Job overview
The Technical Governance Specialist is responsible to implement and optimize Miele’s technical governance practices, including consent management activities and websites privacy compliance in order to ensure valid consent collection, GDPR compliance and country-level settings and trainings. The role is connecting internal and external stakeholders, developing and supporting technical solutions and analysis in strong collaboration with Data teams, IT, Legal and local teams while monitoring all Miele X measures.
Your day-to-day job
- Primary source of information for internal and global stakeholders relating to technical analysis regarding websites privacy compliance.
- Creation and implementation of automated and efficient practices to ensure privacy compliance.
- Monitor and track implementations and continuous audits of our consent management ecosystem.
- Consultancy to regional and local functions by providing technical advice and analysis of consent management, GDPR-compliant marketing solutions and risk avoidance topics.
- Establish a close collaboration between IT, Tracking and Analytics teams, Legal and internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for
- Strongly technical background with expert level experience in browser developer and various tracking and tagging tools.
- In-depth experience of programming in JavaScript or TypeScript and strong professional experience with JavaScript framework and libraries.
- Experience with processes automation (Python preferred).
- Passion to solve technical problems and develop customer-centric solutions, while staying curious and creative.
- Strong communication and organization skills with a hands-on attitude, passion for details, constructive collaboration and solution oriented.
- Assertive team-player with project management skills, international mindset and excellent communication in English.
