The Senior Visual Designer at Miele X is responsible for the look and feel of the digital brand experience. They will take global brand guidelines and evolve them seamlessly and beautifully onto digital touchpoints. The Senior Visual Designer will be part of the Digital UX/UI team whose mission is to create a premium digital shopping experience.

By keeping up to date with design trends this position will continuously refine the user experience, this role has an end-to-end responsibility for frontend design from bringing in ideas through ideating, prototyping to delivering and optimizing features.  The ideal candidate has experience bringing premium brands to life online and understands how to develop responsive e-Commerce concepts and integrate them across various tools and touchpoints.

• Create best in class visual designs for the Miele premium brand.
• Continuously improve the experience with creative ideation for online features.
• Research design trends, conduct competitor reviews, and create mood boards.
• Work in partnership with UX Designers to ensure the both the brand and user needs are represented.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Front End Architects to understand the business and technical requirements.

• Ideally university degree in Design or similar experience within a related field.
• Foundational experience working for a premium brand in consumer or FMCG industry.
• Strong communication and organization skills with a hands-on, problem-solving attitude and experienced in agile ways of working as well as being an assertive team- player with project management skills, international mindset, and fluent business English.
• Excellent prototyping and design skills (InVision, Figma, Sketch, etc.) and a deep understanding of new software/web technologies.
• Experiences in designing e-Commerce or brand websites with the ability to draw conclusions based on analytic reports and KPI’s in alignment with a creative mindset with the user on top of the mind and premium execution capabilities.
