As part of the Performance Marketing team at Miele X the SEA Manager will be responsible for making an impact on paid search performance through executing account health analysis and identifying growth opportunities for search ads and shopping activities across 45+ countries worldwide.

The SEA Manager will work closely with the SEA Specialist to accelerate the paid search activities and collaborate with local marketing teams. On a cross-functional basis, the SEA Manager will collaborate with other acquisition channels along with brand marketing and data teams at Miele.

Do you know all the ins and outs when it comes to Google Ads for Search and Performance Max? Have you worked across a portfolio of numerous countries in a regional or a global role? Do you have strong analytical skills, and do you like to dive into data to get the most out of campaigns? Are you able to provide clean recommendations to local markets on how to optimize performance? Do you have an international mindset and are you excited to work in a culturally diverse team?

Your day-to-day job

  • Support the acceleration of the Miele-owned and operated e-commerce business through paid search activities while ensuring healthy growth measured via RoAS.
  • Work closely with the SEA Specialist and global agency partner to design best-in-class campaign guidelines.
  • Present strategic recommendations in a constructive and cohesive manner for (non-) technical audiences.
  • Act as a trusted partner for local markets, sense-checking agency performance and offering recommendations aimed at accelerating customer acquisition.
  • Identify growth and cost efficiency opportunities across both markets and product categories, monitor results, and perform paid search deep dives.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, testing & innovation strategy in Paid Search.
  • Track market trends and competitors’ ad creative and strategic moves in the search engine space and translate them into tactical responses and A/B testing ideas.

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant search engine advertising work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Google Merchant Centre.
  • Experience with additional tools such as SA360 or a similar bid management solution, Yandex.Direct, Google Data Studio, and/or feed-based campaigns are a big plus.
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and PowerPoint • Possess a get-things-done mentality paired with a data-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrate a fast-learning ability with a natural curiosity and keen interest in developments in the search engine marketing field
  • Ability to think strategically, analyze market performance, and provide recommendations to optimize Paid Search strategies for accelerating customer acquisition.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to easily articulate ideas and effectively present and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, and fluency in another European language is an advantage.
