Job overview

The Request Manager is responsible for improving & managing the request management process for the eCommerce department. Miele has a large stakeholder landscape with business owners throughout 50 countries and within Miele X and headquarters. In this exciting role you will be the first point of contact to assess requests from a technical and business feasibility in alignment with the subject matter experts. Furthermore, this role supports on cross product team processes to improve effectiveness.

Your day-to-day job

  • Become our Solution Advocate, who’s capable of providing solutions to incoming requests and actively offer support
  • Improve the current request management process ((based on Jira) to streamline and address all incoming requests (including first level solutions). Identify our subsidiaries’ common requests, tie them together and in doing so free up internal development resources
  • Perform a first validation on technical complexity and business value of new requests to define if a request needs to be planned on the roadmap with the according priority
  • Support in clarifying requirements and assessing solution direction. While doing this making sure everything is well documented and structured so that knowledge is stored in an optimal way
  • Coordinate the roadmap planning and prepare communication for different stakeholders throughout the organisation

We are looking for

  • 4+ years experience in eCommerce for multi-national websites
  • Deep understanding of key processes in eCommerce:
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Structured mindset, knowing how to organize and prioritize
  • Good understanding in integrating supporting system (ie CRM or PIM)
  • Experience in SAP Hybris is of advantage
