Recruitment Lead


Job overview

As the Recruitment Lead, you will report to the Head of HR, and will be responsible for contributing to the strategy and execution of talent acquisition plans of Miele X. In this role, you will support the business to identify needs and then facilitate the effective implementation of recruitment initiatives in and across different departments and levels of the business. 

Besides strategic activities, you will manage the full recruitment life cycle. You will develop and manage sourcing strategies, and assess and interview candidates while guiding and coaching hiring managers through the process of attracting and onboarding best-in-class and diverse talent. 

Another key responsibility will be leading the work of our recruitment team. You will manage resources to ensure effective delivery, set priorities for the team, and support them in day-to-day activities. 

Your day-to-day job

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment life cycle to ensure timely delivery on vacancies according to Miele X standards 
  • Monitor and steer the effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment activities, and results 
  • Set up and implement recruitment best practices 
  • Lead, develop and guide the recruitment team 
  • Build strong and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders  
  • Manage and further develop cooperation with external parties, such as recruitment agencies 
  • Establish effective reports and use data to create opportunities

We are looking for

  • 5+ years experience in recruiting in an international setting with at least 2 years leading recruitment teams; 
  • Experience in data-driven recruitment approach 
  • Prioritization of multiple functions, and tasks and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced, changing work environment 
  • Strong business proficiency in how to balance business needs and candidate experience 
  • Excellent communication skills as well as strong attention to detail 
  • A “people person” with the ability to build relationships with others 
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates 
  • Ability to switch from strategic mindset to operational tasks and back again as well as being able to contribute individually as well as deliver through others;
