Miele X is growing fast and because of that we are looking for an Integrated Media Effectiveness Manager! As a new member, you are going to be part of the global media team.

This is a hybrid role for someone who brings an analytical approach to media planning. Miele are looking for a candidate to work closely with the Global Head of Media to help analyse the effectiveness of our integrated media activity, develop evidence based narratives about media performance and suggest tactical and strategic actions based on the media evidence.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years experience working in media agencies or ‘media focussed’ brands / organizations, and have experience in building data / evidence driven media plans or reports. The role is best suited to a media planner who has an analytical rather than instinctive approach to the work they do.

Your day-to-day job

  • Assist Global Head of Media in developing integrated media strategy.
  • Gather data and insight on the effectiveness of media plans.
  • Develop evidence based narratives relating to the performance of media.
  • Guide local markets with tactical and strategic recommendations to improve or enhance their integrated media plans.
  • Provide suggestions on new / different ways to measure and report on the effectiveness of integrated media activity.
  •  Liaise with other core functions within / close to media (performance, ecommerce, research, customer engagement).

We are looking for

  • Have spent several years working in a media agency, either in a planning, strategy or data / research team.
  • Have experience in starting and leading their own projects based on opportunities and insight.
  • Be comfortable communicating with senior marketing leaders in central, regional, and local teams.
  • Familiarity with statistics and / or data science principles, even if only in a theoretical / academic manner.
  • Open and collaborative personality - this is a role that will work with and feed into multiple functions
  • Nerdy about media, the effectiveness of media and the impact media can have on a business.
  • Analytical in their nature and approach to work.
  • Willing to interrogate and improve on the status quo.
  • Helpful and happy to educate others around them.
