The Head of Onsite Performance is responsible for developing the growth plans for Miele’s webshops of premium home appliances to continuously improve revenue and user satisfaction. This role collaborates with eCommerce and other internal teams across the complete global organization to accelerate onsite performance programs and processes with target to increase revenues based on data analysis and insights. The Head of Onsite Performance is new within eCommerce Dpt and one of the main responsibilities is to build up a strong team. The analysis of D2C (ecommerce) future trends, data and consumer insights will shape the development of the strategic roadmap for the current and the next years for the new created team.

The role reports to eCommerce Sales Director and the ideal candidate is data driven, team leader, collaborator, problem solver with deep understanding of eCommerce and D2C.

Your day-to-day job

  • Lead the growth and development of the Onsite Performance Team, helping to set the strategic direction for the team and the onsite performance function.
  • Setup the webshop revenues structure and develop the business growth plans working across multiple teams in global organisation and local teams with ultimate target to increase revenues. Lead the development of monthly onisite performance dashboards for the management with actions and recommendations.
  • Build up a strong team and develop our people by helping them achieve their personal development objectives and ambitions. Create an environment where people can do their best work and grow.
  • Drive the development of online growth plans per product category with ongoing onsite improvements in campaigns, content and customer journeys.
  • Lead an interdisciplinary team of product management, UX, CRO & Content Managers, CRM, data analysts to boost the onsite business. Share and analyse onsite buisness plans and results with local stakeholders and international counterparts.
  • Plan and drive all actions to increase the business performance. Create ideas and hypotheses for business improvements. Define and control KPI’s and secure a smooth implementation of the actions.
  • Lead continuous CRO, data analytics, market & trend research, monitor and track achievements.
  • Striving for excellence. Drive the strategic roadmap (short term and long term) for the webshop revenues focused on new product launches, optimisations programs and D2C initiatives.

We are looking for

  • Strong experience working for D2C/eCommerce and a premium brand in consumer, technology or FMCG industry.
  • At least ten years of experience in Senior Onsite Performance roles where you have been using data and consumer insights to lead growth sales plans across the customer lifecycle as part of creating better digital experiences.
  • Minimum five years experience in managing a team, preferably in global scale, international environment and eCommerce websites.
  • Creative business mindset based on qualitative and quantitative insights. Combining a data-driven and business mindset.
  • Profound understanding of the customers’ behavior through data. Ability to provide actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Strong experience with CRM, CRO, Content, e-Commerce, Google Analytics, web analytics.
  • Well organized in a fast-paced environment and accountable to timelines. Project management experienced.
  • Top communicator with various teams in international environment and strong team player.
  • Ideally University degree in business studies, major in Marketing / Digital Brand Management and other relevant fields.
