As a eCommerce Manager (Value Added Services) you are responsible for increasing the online conversion and growing the customer satisfaction on our web shops with eCommerce tools and services. This role will drive the business development of eCommerce tools (ie Product Advisor, Ratings & Reviews) and D2C services including the launch, test, and maintenance plan for Miele webstores in global scale. The main task for this role is to lead business development initiatives, test the results based on clearly set business goals, build business cases and take the responsibility for the global procurement, roll-out, and maintenance. The Added Value Services Manager collaborates with Content, Onsite Performance, Product teams, IT/Technology, external Partners, and local countries to create additional revenue streams with different D2C initiatives and optimization programs.

Your day-to-day job

  • Leading the full product-life-cycle whilst selecting new eCommerce tools (ie Product Advisor, Ratings & Reviews) to increase the online conversion; Identifying customer needs, selecting the new tools, determining the business rules and KPIs, running a test pilot, reporting out, creating the business case, roll-out the tool and preparing the business development plan for maintaining the tool with ongoing A/B testing
  • Creating the Value-Added Services roadmap with current tools, services, new D2C initiatives, opportunities, and optimization programs to drive additional revenue streams
  • Guiding and working with the local stakeholders as consult to test, and implement/launch. Whilst building a framework to scale out fast to other countries
  • Advocating and leading to sharing best practices and learnings between local stakeholders and international counterparts based on A/B testing and usage of the different tools by consumers
  • Developing strong relationships with external strategic partners, IT, Legal, Global Procurement, Product, other Senior Stakeholders and local teams to drive projects effectively and in time
  • Reporting to Head of Value-Added Services, within eCommerce Sales Department

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience working for a premium brand in the consumer, technology, or FMCG industry with deep market and (premium) consumer behavior knowledge on eCommerce, D2C, and omnichannel
  • Business savvy and commercially driven, able to connect IT & business
  • Proven affinity for leading eCommerce projects (preferably in D2C) that drive traffic and conversion rate 
  • Self-organized and eye for detail in a fast-paced environment and accountable to timelines. Project management, consulting, business development experience preferred. 
  • Top and effective communicator able and comfortable in communicating with various teams, (non-) technical audiences, local stakeholders and difference levels of seniority. International mindset, and fluent business English. 
  • A strong team player; leading cross-functional teams within Miele X and local countries.
