Job overview
Miele X is growing fast and because of that we are looking for a DevOps Engineer! As a new member you are going to be part of Digital Commerce IT Team. You are responsible to implement, build and maintain the infrastructure and tools our developers work with and rely on. From traditional to modern infrastructure, cloud services and solutions, this role is crucial to the future of Miele’s Ecommerce business, where he/she will take a key part in the build of our new Ecommerce frontend and overall delivery operations.
Your day-to-day job
- Improve and Support the Development team by using our eCom DevOps Toolchain.
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes. Participate in cross-functional projects to increase global website turnover.
- Configure and improve our CDN for perfect delivery results of our Website across the world.
- Manage external partners and coordinate change across the different internal and external teams.
- Establish DevOps best practices for our Ecommerce teams and work with the different teams in the organization to remove impediments.

We are looking for
- University degree in computer science or other relevant fields.
- Strong professional experience with Java based applications, modern frontend frameworks and stacks (Nodejs, Vuejs, Nuxt, graphQL, etc.).
- Experience with Akamai services such as Ion and Kona Site Defender. Experience is needed in CI/CD, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Networking (incl. DNS), Azure DevOps, MS Azure.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and working knowledge of DevOps principles.
- A can do attitude who is not afraid of rolling up the sleeves and work with both modern and old technology.
